User information about ImmoConnect
This page explains how ImmoConnect’s prices are calculated.
Eponet Basic
The Eponet Basic package costs CHF 2 per charging point per month and 1 cent per kWh.
If Eponet load management is used, an additional CHF 1 per charging point per month applies.
These costs are charged to the infrastructure’s Eponet account monthly via a service invoice. The charging infrastructure manager may need to pass on this CHF 2 per charging point per month to the user. With the Basic model, the administrator is also responsible for maintaining the charging profiles (electricity prices) and pays the electricity supplier’s bill. Reports and statements can be generated by the administrator via the portal.
Eponet ImmoConnect Light
The ImmoConnect Light model relieves the management of the burden of passing on the monthly charge of CHF 2 per charging point to the user. This model costs “plus CHF 2 per charging point per month”. With this model, the property manager remains responsible for maintaining the charging profiles (electricity prices) and pays the electricity supplier’s bill. Reports and statements can be generated by the property manager via the portal.
Eponet ImmoConnect EVU
The ImmoConnect EVU model completely relieves the property manager of this burden. This model costs “Plus CHF 9 per charging point per month”.
Under this model, Eponet is responsible for maintaining the charging profiles (electricity prices) and pays the electricity supplier’s bill (a dedicated e-mobility meter is required).
The monthly cost of CHF 11 per charging point per month is debited directly from the user’s account.
Monthly costs, such as the e-mobility electricity meter or the cost of the internet connection, are also billed to the user on a monthly basis – but are automatically and fairly apportioned by the system across the number of users.
Eponet ImmoConnect Custom
The ImmoConnect Custom model is available on request. This model enables a provider to bill individual costs, such as charging station rental or service subscription fees, on a monthly basis. Available on request.
Eponet ImmoConnect Charging Profiles (Electricity Prices)
This section explains the composition of the charging profile.
Every charging infrastructure billed via Eponet is connected to the Eponet backend via the internet using an OCPP connection – Eponet charges a flat rate of 1 centime/kWh for this data communication. Incidentally, your charging station is connected to Eponet via the native cloud in Zurich with the highest level of security.
Eponet bills the user precisely for the electricity consumed, based on actual usage. However, even when not charging, the following devices behind the e-mobility meter continuously consume electricity:
- Internet modem
- Network components (switch, Wi-Fi, etc.)
- Charging station standby consumption
To cover these ongoing standby electricity costs, 2 rappen/kWh is usually added to the charging profile. In a large underground car park where perhaps five or more Wi-Fi access points are connected and only two charging stations are in use, the 2 rappen/kWh may not be sufficient. Eponet reserves the right to adjust the charge in such cases.
Your charging profile is therefore calculated on the basis of the selected electricity price in your local authority area, plus 3
rappen per kWh.
Commissioning a charging point
A new charging station, installed and configured by an installation partner, must be activated and tested in the property’s Eponet account, and the invitation/onboarding process must be supported. Eponet charges the new user a flat fee of CHF 80 for this.
Further information on Eponet’s prices can be found in the Eponet price list.
