I can no longer charge my vehicle
If you are unable to charge your vehicle – i.e. if it suddenly stops working – please check the following points first.
Is my balance above £50?
Please check your personal account to see if your balance is over CHF 50.
As soon as your balance falls below CHF 50 – for example, CHF 49.80 – you will no longer be able to start a charging process.
Information on the minimum balance
Ensure that no charging times are programmed in the vehicle
Please make sure that no charging times are programmed in your vehicle. Many vehicles allow you to set a time when charging starts. For example, charging only starts at 9 p.m. This is often activated accidentally or forgotten to be deactivated.
Is the fault with Eponet?
The Eponet portal and all its servers are continuously monitored. There is no such thing as 100% security in this world. However, with its infrastructure in the native cloud at AWS in Zurich, Eponet offers the highest possible security and availability.
You can check the functionality of the Eponet portal at any time on the Eponet status page.
Further steps
You have checked the points described above, your balance is over CHF 50 and the Eponet status page shows no malfunction? Please contact the administration, the operator (owner of the charging station) or the electrician responsible for installing the system. Eponet is not responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of the infrastructure.
Any support provided by Eponet is subject to a fee and will be charged to your account. If you contact us, we will need your account number. You can find this in your account profile:
Eponet is a Swiss cloud service provider and offers, among other things, billing solutions for charging stations. Eponet is not the operator of this infrastructure – it is the billing service provider. In the event of technical faults, please always contact the operator or electrician who installed the system first.
